Teaching Method - Lessons to Develop the Complete Pitcher
Picture of David SandersI have been in baseball for as long as I can remember. From my days of little league in Los Angeles, CA to my days in the Bear League of Tulsa. From varsity baseball at Jenks High School to starting pitcher for Wichita State University. My dream of being a professional baseball player became a reality when I was drafted by the Boston Red Sox. Now I am doing what I love the most, working with youth.

Pitching is an art that takes years of practice to perfect. My teaching method focuses on four areas of the complete pitcher. These areas are:

Your pitcher will learn the mental part of pitching. Pitching is 90% mental. The pitcher will gain great success if he is confident in himself and knows what to do in any situation he faces.

Your pitcher will learn the physical part of pitching. To reach your highest potential you must train hard and be flexible. If you are not physically fit, you will not have enough energy to pitch successfully.

Your pitcher will learn the mechanical part of pitching. I don't believe there is only one way to pitch, but I do believe there are guidelines to follow to consistently do well. With this in mind, your player will learn the proper mechanics of a pitcher.

Your pitcher will learn the spiritual part of pitching. Nothing is worth doing if it not done for Jesus. Having a proper perspective of pitching with regards to what is the most important in life is important to the development of any person. I share the struggles and victories I have had in my career with every student. Each session contains a short lesson on developing who you are as a person.

Most of all, I try to create an atmosphere where your pitcher can enjoy himself and look forward to working hard on developing his baseball talent. Above all else baseball is supposed to be fun.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your pitcher's personal instructor. I look forward to doing everything I can to help your pitcher reach his full potential.

God Bless,
David Sanders
